The Feel Good Fix

The Feel Good Fix uses your brain’s instinctive programming function to create a happier and healthier mindset.

If you repeatedly visualise yourself doing something which makes you feel really good, your brain’s instinctive programming function will establish a “feel good program”. Eventually, your brain will run this “feel good program” as an automatic reaction to situations. It will feel natural to experience deeper “feel good” emotions with more frequency.

“Feel Good Fix Example”

Rani was finding the juggling of two small children and a full time job had started taking its toll on her mood. She was quick to snap with her children and easily exasperated at work. She made some practical changes to work fewer hours and, although this helped reduce her stress levels, she found she had got into the habit of having a short fuse.

Rani downloaded her “Feel Good Fix” and followed the guide for making her mental Mind Movie. She made a Mind Movie of the time she worked in a bar in Mexico during her Gap year when she had felt particularly carefree and happy. She listened to her download every day for two weeks.

After completing the two weeks, Rani was astonished to find that she had far more influence over her mood and mindset.
